Converstion topic: National Lover’s Day

This is my oldest brother and my sister-in-law. They've almost acheived paper-anniversary-status!
This is my oldest brother and my sister-in-law. They’ve almost acheived paper-anniversary status, dress well, and (sometimes) read my blog. Therefore: they should commment in the comments about relationship advice.
So apparently today is National Lover’s Day. How do I know this? Because I read the internet.

May it be known: I am currently flying solo, so this didn’t really impact my life all that much.

I continued to read the internet, though, and happened upon this interview upon a blog. I’ll be honest: I don’t really know the woman who was being interviewed. But! I did appreciate one of her answers to the questions.

The question: What advice would you give to someone who wasn’t sure this person was “the one” to marry?

Her answer: I would ask them if they thought they could live through potentially hard things (death of parents or child) with this person and if this is the person they thought that life would be best spent with.

Thoughtful answer, no?

What’s the best advice you’ve recently heard regarding relationships? 🙂

  1. 1. Pray for your lover all the time 2. Find ways to let your man know you respect him 3.Cuddle even if you’re mad, really hard to stay mad while touching (I only have newish advice so it’s a little gooey)
