My camera has been accumulating photos of my mother.
This is mostly because in the winter I’m driven more indoors due to snow/cold/ice/my inability to generate body heat and more time indoors = more time for projects!
The list is in:
- My sister and I ordered Triathlon-friendly suits yesterday. After the mere second swimming class of our adult experience. I was like, “Maybe we should try Olympic distance tri?”
And Christine was like, “ABSOLUTLY NOT ARE YOU INSANE??”
So we didn’t even sign up for anything. We just bought the suits. ‘merica.
Stay posted.
Summer ’14, we’re eying you. Maybe a sprint-distance tri. (We ruled out half-sprint. Because we have low standards but not quite that low) (Example of our low standards: ‘
“We don’t need to place.”
“Oh, definitely! In fact, we probably won’t pace.”
“Almost definitely. But! We’ll finish.”

I’m not going to come out and say it’s awesome, butit’s going to be great. Be excited. I’m working on a team that’s comprised of extroverts and introverts and different spiritual gifts and appreciation and love for the other types so hopefully it’s a balanced, beautiful experience for everyone involved.
Without further ado, here’re some mom-pics for ya:
(Do you like how these are all other-centric?)
It happens.
And, that’s that. 🙂
And, if you’ll excuse me, I have some sleeves to put in.
Yay for Snowball skirt!
