Last post in the meet-my-family series is by my brothers. They’re each unique individuals, and here is some brother insight for today. And I’m posting pics and commenting in italics per the usual.
My oldest brother, David, answers first
Pretend you had a free weekend–what would you do?
Work on projects around the house. I have a long list going and progress is slow.
David and his wife, Esther, just bought a new house.

Who is a pretty cool dude?
Richard Kolla, but in the Canadian sense.
LOL! Richard is this crazy Canadian with self-professed “tree-trunk legs.”

What is your irrational fear?
Failure.
Describe Marc
Marc is my father. An especially focused man who through either nature’s gift or formative chance is capable of extreme focus on the tasks that are of interest to him, occasionally at the accidental expense of other items he overlooks. He is passionate about education, especially STEM activities for high school students. A devoted family man, my dad is reliable and has always acted with the best of intentions. Slightly hot tempered, the stresses of a large young family were occasionally more than he bargained for, but the advent of a more mild middle-aged temperament suits him well. He has, especially from his formative years in college, continuously pursued and grown in his Christian Catholic faith, much to the benefit of his five children and the greater community as a whole.

Paul answers some questions…
What was your favorite Camino memory?
Seeing the mountain views, singing songs with friends and whenever I could set up my hammock.

Who would you survive with in the wild?
Uncle Bill and maybe Bear Gryllis.
I always pick Uncle Bill, too.
If you had to do something crazy to the interior design in your room, what would you do?
Have a door to my room.
This isn’t actually crazy, but for some strange reason my parents are severely opposed to that room having a door, so Paul got the shaft and must deal with some curtains…which is why it would be “crazy” for him to have a door.
What kind of Chinese food do you love?
Egg rolls and fortune cookies. The other stuff gets me sick.
His nickname was “Barfer Boy” for a while, there.

Describe Christine Center
Saucy and bossy.
Maybe I should’ve let mom answer that one, too.
What is your best physical attribute?
Probably my nose.
And the fact that people mistake you for PRINCE HARRY?

Aaaand, last but not least, from baby-Josh, the youngest brother ever:
Describe David
“Trust me, I’ve been to Rome.”

This is actually a hilarious description, it’s one of David’s phrases.
Name one thing more awesome than peanut butter
Butter.
With whom would you like to eat lunch?
Joe.
His BFF since they were, like, five years old.
If you were any fruit, which one would you be?
Coconut.
Name some of your favorite obscure scents
The air in the month of March.
What’s a good ice cream flavor?
Cookie dough.
There you have it, folks! I hope you learned as much as I did! 😀 Thanks for reading, now you’ve met the fam! And stick around because we’ll be back to other content next week. May your weekend be chill and relaxed.
