SEASHELL NELL

This is my Camino. Welcome.

P.S. Play information

Hi.

I’m in the middle of a series on the summer of racial tension that is 1967 2016, but for this post I’m going to give it a rest for a hot-second because I’m also in the middle of (1) a huge lot of work-stuff (Ste. Anne novena whaaaaaat, holler if you need prayers, because that woman intercedes like a boss) and (2) I’m also directing a play.

So. This play.

Photos of rehearsals:

We rehearse in a park. This summer is pretty dry, just like the grass in this here photo. Also, in the play, these two play a cute couple on an awkward date YOU KNOW YOU THINK IT’S AMAZING.

Coffee shop baristas reporting for duty. These two kill it. Props to my sister who is probably only performing in this play due to my mother’s strong mom-guilt game. But, what would we do without them?

You will probably laugh at this man’s song. Something something pigs. Something something Waco, Texas. Something something Mayan Apocalypse.

Angsty teens trying to make life decisions. Drama! Suspense! Intrigue!

So, anyway, if you’re around and local, consider supporting local art and people and friends and community. And, obviously…me. I’d love to see you there.

Facebook event.
Relevant tweet where you hear a little bit of bonus-song.
