What it’s like having siblings in the medical field:
On Sunday, in the wee hours, I caught a terrible and relentless virus. (I think? I have no other explanation.) At the sound of my dry heaving (so gross so gross so gross!) illness.
Sister: What’s going on?
Me: *pant pant pant* I think I’m sick.
Sister: Oh. (rolls over, goes back to bed)
Sister’s explanation, later: I analyzed there was nothing for me to do at that moment, and, if you needed me to take you to the hospital later, I would be ready for that.
There ya go.

My brother sees someone who has recently changed their appearance:
Brother: You dyed your hair! I like it…(under his breath) it’s dark like your heart.

My brother home from work, begins eating everything in sight:
Brother: Look at me. Look at me. What am I even eating right now?
(Report: he is eating a piece of cake he has sliced and laid on top of a muffin.)
I know he’s trying to eat clean so I offer a sensitive: What are you doing?
Brother: Eating a bunch of garbage.
Me: Why don’t you make yourself a nice sandwich or something?
Brother: I need to eat some pieces of chocolate. Don’t judge me. I’m on my period.

If you wanted to look at cute things instead of reading these things, here’s a really cool artist who features captured watercolor scenes of daily love.
Ta da!

Your fam sounds fun! Hope you’re feeling better, now.
I am feeling better–thanks for asking and for stopping by. 🙂
