Crinoline update

I owed you this on Monday. I know, I know.

Shout out to the generous and fun-loving Sugardale for the crinoline pattern. It was fun and full of helpful ideas and truly a work of love/ art.

(Although, love, you could cut that Fray-check step. I did. 100% nylon doesn’t fray a whole bunch).

And then I dyed my crinoline in a pot I bought for half-off at a second hand store…which was a good idea since the pot will never be where it was pre-dye.

Dance, dance, dancity-dance. Sorry none of these feature the skirt. The crinoline was THE BEST. Seriously, people were all coming up to me like, "You look GREAT." And, my dress (while lovely) was plain. It was 100% the crinoline that made it that night.

And then I danced and danced and danced for hours with wonderful leads in a beautiful venue to the best, best, best band around.

  1. Looks like it was a blast – the gal in the middle and the one on the far right look like they could be twins to me. Now I gotta find me some crinoline and try making a dress. Very pretty – sometimes simple is the best look.
