  1. I love good book recommendations. Some of my recent favorites are “the awakening of miss pim” which is not so much plot driven as a discussion of marriage among the characters. Very cool. And I can’t think of any other new ones. But I read Anne of the Island every fall. And pride and prejudice when I am sick in bed.

    1. Yeah, I thought about adding an Austen, too, but then I didn’t. Anne Shirley is an incredible heroine, too, though. Looking forward to reading your book, there!

  2. DUDE. Tangerine tho. One of my favorites. Also, I’m pretty sure I read Annie’s Ghosts, but couldn’t remember the title and wanted to re-read, so thanks! And thanks for the recommendations, I’ve been looking for some new books to read.

A Thousand Splendid Suns and And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini are so, so good. So if you want to read those, you should.

  3. Oh my gosh, I LOVE Witch of Blackbird Pond. True story: My mom made me read it in highschool and I thought it was about an actual witch, and was NOT interested, but obedience, so….I read it and Could.Not.Tear.Away until it was finished. #youwererightMom
