Let’s just come right out and say it, right?
Vest, vest, veeeeeest!!
I raided the costume closet again.
I’m telling you this because I believe in honesty. And humility, I guess.
My excuse is the one I’ve made all year thus far and will CONTINUE TO MAKE even if it means I’m saying the same thing until MEMORIAL DAY. You can’t stop me. Ahem, “It’s been a long winter.”
And even though I’m exercising and popping my D-vitamins, I still fall in winter-rut like the best of them.
And so every day I’m faced with the challenge of trying to find a good four layers to layer while still semi-matching. And this is what I came up with: a vest I wore my senior year of high school in a Shakespeare play.
Live large.
I contemplated jewelery but realized my sweater/ shirt would cover any bracelets and my thick scarf would cover any necklaces or pins so I was left with EARRINGS so I earring-ed good and hard.
How do you like them apples? I may have made similar earrings for people on my Christmas list. And, while shopping for those feathers I was like, “Well, maybe I’ll just make some for myself!”
And I did.
Oh, and you can stop crying because Valentine’s Day weekend and THREE tattoo parlors later, that cartilage piercing is back and I am myself again. Woo hoo.
Also, D.J. wants you guys to know that he’s over and therefore my day is better. 😉
