Some of my girlfriends and I decided that we would like to partake in a “Lenten Retreat.” Only, we didn’t have one we really wanted to attend.
And so, we decided to make our own.
These particular two girlfriends have talents and pasts that include missionary work, retreat planning, and convent life expertise. What I’m saying is: I’m really excited about this retreat. Especially because we hammered out the schedule yesterday and it features times of silent prayer (something I appreciate even though I’m not good at silence) and sleeping (something I, by the grace of God, master).
Oh, and there will be games and times were we share something we find beautiful. And nature hikes. And plentiful, healthful food.
*Exhale*.
