As you know, I’m off for a week of riding my bike across the state.
But, to keep things interesting, here are some internet links for you to read. I’ll try to have different topics through the week. Yeah, internet!
- As you know, my favorite John Blase is the man. I usually read him on his own site…however, this past week I came across some John Blase on deeperstory.com, and I don’t discriminate. Deep stuff, about manliness and vocation. Take a read, see what you think. I’m not a man, and I don’t know just what I think about this just yet. Discuss
- Those who attended my dinner party a few days back heard me talk about one of my all-time favorite poems: The Power of the Powerless by Christopher de Vinck. Here’s an electronic copy. Read, ponder, enjoy. This one gives me goosebumps, really.
- Lastly, here’s a short reflection which is years and years old…but, I still really like it. Teaser: creative writing about Mary and Martha. Hmmm.
