St. Andrew of Crete – Halo Boys Frameable
$5.00
St. Andrew of Crete was born in Damascus in 650 to Christian parents who loved him and taught him about Jesus.; unfortunately, he was unable to speak. When St. Andrew was seven years old he prepared to make his First Communion. At this event, he was miraculously cured! For the first time in his life he was able to speak. As he grew, St. Andrew used this gift of speech to tell more people about Jesus. And he didn’t just preach…he sang, too! St. Andrew is one of the most important composers of sacred hymns in our tradition of faith. To this day his masterpieces are chanted in churches across the world throughout the liturgical year.
Here he is pictured with books, filled with truths he wrote for the Church as well as wheat, a traditional symbol of the Eucharist and a nod to the miracle on his First Communion.
-The text reads: “St. Andrew of Crete pray that I may share beauty”
-The hefty coverstock paper is 5″x7″, artwork is a smaller piece
– Print comes with a description of her life history on the back
– The print is sold unframed, but, I made the paper a size that is super easy to find in most stores. I figured I’d save you the $ on shipping.
– Print will come in a plastic sleeve, with some protective cardboard, in a bubble mailer.
The “Halo Girls” set is my artistic celebration of the wonder and diversity of God’s call…to every one of us. <3
