Bl. Dom Justo Takayama – Halo Boys Frameable
$5.00
Bl. Dom Justo Takayama (1552-1615) was a Japanese Catholic, baptized into the faith at age twelve. For a few years, his faith was neglected but, at a coming-of-age Samauri ritual, he killed a man which caused him to re-examine his thoughts of mortality and eternity. He emerged a faithful man, living a life of holiness in a position of respect in his community. Takayama became a fuedal governor, and he used this position to assist Jesuit missionaries in spreading news of Jesus through Japan. A new Chancellor was unhappy with this decision, and persecuted many Christians. Takayama was presented with a choice: renounce his faith or lose his position and wealth. Takayama chose Jesus and was exiled to the Phillippines, where he died 40 days later.
-The text reads: “Bl. Dom Justo Takayama pray that I may have fidelity”
-The hefty coverstock paper is 5″x7″, artwork is a smaller piece
– Print comes with a description of her life history on the back
– The print is sold unframed, but, I made the paper a size that is super easy to find in most stores. I figured I’d save you the $ on shipping.
– Print will come in a plastic sleeve, with some protective cardboard, in a bubble mailer.
The “Halo Girls” set is my artistic celebration of the wonder and diversity of God’s call…to every one of us. <3
